President

Connor Westover

Connor comes from a family of innovators; from spending time on jobsites while in high school, to interning on projects while in college, to eventually managing projects at ASSC, Connor has been working in the industry from the start. He graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and has his PMA certification. As the Vice President of ASSC, Connor oversees all operations. He is actively involved in the construction community and is a current SMACNA board member.

Vice President of Construction

Rob Arrighini

Rob has over 17 years of experience in the mechanical contracting field. He began his career at ASSC as a pre-apprentice and quickly advanced to the role of superintendent. Reflecting his leadership and expertise, Rob has since been promoted to Vice President. Throughout his career, he has gained extensive experience in HVAC, mechanical piping, medical gas systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and civil underground work. Rob is well-versed in both design-build and plan-and-spec projects, successfully managing a variety of projects ranging from fast-track tenant improvements to ground-up new construction. Active in the construction community, Rob currently serves on the APMC Board of Directors. He is also DBIA certified, demonstrating his expertise in design-build project delivery.

Jody Hawkins

Jody has been with ASSC for 5 years and has held a variety of positions within the industry which have given her valuable knowledge and a solid understanding of a construction firm’s operations. As the Controller, she is responsible for guiding the financial decisions of the company by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. Jody oversees the accounting, HR, and payroll teams.

Vince Haycox

Vince has 15 years of experience in the construction industry, after graduating from California State University Sacramento. Vince spent 9 years working for a general contractor, and then made the move to join the team at ASSC in 2018. He has developer-lead project experience, occupied facility construction experience, and extensive experience with fast-paced, short time-frame project schedules. Vince has recently moved his role from Project Management to Director of Business Development.

Jeremy Hobbs

Jeremy has been in the mechanical contracting industry since 1997 and began his career at ASSC as an apprentice in the Sheet Metal Workers Training Program. Jeremy has since held various positions with ASSC over the course his career including on site supervisor for several major mechanical projects and now oversees all aspects of the HVAC field installation as ASSC’s Sheet Metal Superintendent. Jeremy has attended various educational and leadership courses through organizations such as FMI, SMACNA and APMC.

Armando Garza

Armando has over 25 years of experience in the HVAC industry. He began his career as a union service technician with Local 393 which provided him with invaluable hands-on experience in the field. The technical expertise and understanding he has honed over the years are paramount in his current role, supporting service operations and the service sales and field teams.

Brittney Lopez

Brittney worked as a nursing assistant for 5 years before starting with ASSC in 2015 as an assistant project coordinator in our special projects department. Over the years at ASSC, she moved over to our Larger Mainstream department and has worked with our team on the Northbay Hospital Expansion, Solano Labs, FDA, and many more. She has moved up to become our Senior Project Coordinator and runs our PC Department. In her free time, Brittney loves to craft and spend time with her family.

Sierra Bloom

Sierra has over 9 years in the industry. She began her career as a service dispatcher. Her love of helping people opened the door to her current role as Service Administrative Manager. Sierra is an integral part of the leadership team that supports our internal service division. She acts as the conduit between the office and the field, all while managing our office team to ensure amazing customer service.

Chad DeBeer

Chad DeBeer, with over a decade of experience in the IT industry, is currently the IT Operations Manager at Air Systems Service & Construction. His expertise spans IT Procurement, Server Management, and Project Management, among others. Previously, he held positions at Pebble Beach Company and Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. His diverse skill set and extensive experience make him a valuable asset.
